This is exactly what it says on the tin.
With nearly 50 days to go until The Sending is released, one question a lot of people have been asking is, where is the launch?
With just over a month to go until The Sending is supposed to be released in stores, we have word that it's been spotted - and loaned out - in selected public libraries in Australia.
[strike]Two[/strike] Three teensy bits of news today, both mega-exciting and thus worth documenting here.
Our Penguin contact Felicity has passed us a newly-uploaded video in which Isobelle talks about her writing, drawing and life with her family in the lead up to the much anticipated sixth book in The Obernewtyn Chronicles, 'The Sending', in her beautiful hometown of Apollo Bay.
Our Bloomsbury contact Flora would like to announce the arrival of Obernewtyn.co.uk, the Bloomsbury Publishing website dedicated to the Obernewtyn Chronicles, with information about Isobelle and each of the Ober Chron books, plus links and downloads relating to the Chronicles (similar to Penguin AU's Obernewtyn.com.au).
That's right, we have a confirmed date.
We've just had word from Obernetter and Collins bookseller manager, Ethereal, regarding Isobelle's August talk in Bendigo in which she's sent us full details of the event.
Isobelle has sent us over a very special treat; the entire front and back cover of Book Six of the Obernewtyn Chronicles - The Sending, due to be released later this year.
In the lead up to the release of The Sending sometime in September, the Obernet Book Club is hosting a joint re-reading of the Obernewtyn Chronicles.
